FOUNDING CO-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR / TREASURER

Tam has a big heart for and sincere devotion to young adults! As a former barrel racer, youth rodeo secretary, Ranch 4-H Leader and college cowboy mom, she knew the challenges that young cowgirls and cowboys faced inside and outside of the arena.

Tam’s love for these students is expressed through her love for Christ and her passion to ease their journey by introducing them to Jesus or helping them grow their faith through fellowship and truth! She is dedicated to helping each and every student (and their friends) to feel genuinely loved and supported while they find the path that God has for them and to encourage them to boldly shine their light for Jesus while they pursue their academic, athletic and life goals and dreams.

CO-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR / SECRETARY

Rob is a former team roper who has had a love for rodeo most of his adult life. With a heart for discipleship, mentoring, and serving others, he is passionate about encouraging others in their walk with Christ. Through SOARS, Ministry, Rob seeks to support rodeo students and families by sharing God’s love both in and out of the arena.

Rob believes that some of life’s most meaningful ministry happens through authentic relationships and everyday conversations. He has a passion for walking alongside others, offering encouragement, practical support, and biblical guidance as they navigate life’s challenges and opportunities. His desire is to see students and families grow in their faith and experience the hope found in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

DIRECTOR

Melissa has a heart for encouraging and supporting college rodeo students as they grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ.

As a member of the SOARS Board of Directors, she is honored to serve alongside others who are committed to pointing students to the One who has the words of eternal life and helping them experience the love and truth of Christ.

DIRECTOR

Jeff is passionate about helping others discover and live out God’s purpose for their lives. His appreciation for Western heritage and the values found within the rodeo community has fueled his desire to invest in the next generation.

Through SOARS Ministry, Jeff enjoys encouraging students, building connections, and pointing others toward Christ. He believes rodeo and agricultural students are natural leaders who can make a lasting impact for the Kingdom of God.

DIRECTOR

JD (Jerry Don) Morrow has been involved with livestock his entire life. He roped calves, barrel raced and trained performance horses from a young age. JD started designing and building high-quality custom horse bits in 1986.

JD has a special heart for young people, mentoring them at his arena and shop as well as in his home where he led Bible studies for high school- and college-aged youth, many of whom are still in personal contact.

JD and his wife (Dianne) served as Sunday School teachers of 3rd grade boys. They were also founding members of Parker County Cowboy Church where JD served two terms as an Elder.

JD enjoys participating and mentoring young people through the SOARS Ministry as well as in his personal life.
